Caretaker/s
Halewood Town Council are currently recruiting for new staff who can undertake our Caretaker roles. We work 35 hours per week and have 2 full time, or up to 4 part time roles available. Our buildings are open 7 days per week between 8:00am and 10:30pm and the ability to work evenings and weekends is a requirement. Shift patterns across these times are negotiable, however we mainly require evening and weekend shifts to be covered.
HTC is a local Town Council based in Merseyside who support and represent members of our local community. We manage several parks and green spaces across the township, as well as our community and social facilities including The Arncliffe Sports and Community Centre and Hollies Hall.
You will be an important team member working to ensure the safety, security and accessibility of our buildings. An ability to travel across all HTC sites daily as part of your working shift is required. You will have regular interaction with members of the Community, our Town Councillors, business partners and suppliers. Please see the attached Job Description for a list of duties.

Business Support Assistant – Admin and Finance
Halewood Town Council are currently recruiting for a Business Support Assistant working on administration and finance duties.
HTC is a local Town Council based in Merseyside who support and represent members of our local community. We manage several parks and green spaces across the township, as well as our community and social facilities including The Arncliffe Sports and Community Centre and Hollies Hall.
In your role of Business Support Assistant – Admin and Finance role you will support the team with front office and administrative duties, working closely with the Town Manager and other members of staff.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our administrative and financial procedures are managed effectively and professionally, following established procedures. You will have previous experience of this type of work and will be able to keep accurate records and report any concerns. Based in the front office, you will have regular interaction with members of the Community, our Town Councillors, business partners and suppliers.
You must have an understanding of confidentiality and GDPR requirements. The base for this role may be at either of the HTC venues, with flexibility offered when possible.

This course is part of a wider public health research project called ReCITE, led by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
These 6-week workshops provide a safe space for individuals to explore and share their healthcare experiences through storytelling, with professional guidance from writers Louise Fazackerley and Claire Beerjeraz. Participants will develop their stories, which may be transformed into multimedia outputs and shared amongst local communities, health practitioners and policy makers, designed to highlight issues and inspire positive change.
Participants will be financially compensated for their time commitment and the usage of their stories in this research project.
We are looking for people who:
– are over 18
– live in Knowsley
– have lived experience of barriers to accessing healthcare
