Public Access – Town Council Meeting (6th August)
Following representations from several parties, the council has reviewed its decision to merely ‘livestream’ the Town Council meeting scheduled for Thursday August 6th. As the meeting will take place via Zoom, the public may request the access code for their attendance by writing to the Town Manager. This must be done by 12.00pm on Thursday August 6th after which the code will be shared.
The public are reminded that only persons requesting access by midday on Thursday will be allowed into the meeting. No members of the public will be admitted without this prior approval (this is to prevent cyber disruption of the meeting). In addition, any members of the public seeking to raise questions at the Public Forum section of the agenda should advise the Town Manager by midday on Thursday.
We apologise for the confusion caused by the earlier decision to only livestream the meeting.
