HOLLIES PLAYGROUND CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
I am sorry to report that we have had more mindless and deliberate vandalism to Hollies Playground. Just take a look at these pictures:
Having spent just over £46,000 last year on a complete refurbishment of the playground, it is disappointing, to put it mildly, that this has happened. The Police have been informed, Scene of Crime Officers have taken evidence in an attempt to identify the culprits and if they are identified the Town Council will give serious consideration to criminal prosecutions.
As a result the play area is closed and will remain so until further notice. The Town Council simply hasn’t got the resources to keep dealing with such vandalism.
