Halewood Uni-Wise (School Uniform Support)
Halewood Town Council is pleased to be partnering with a new community organisation, ‘Halewood Uni-Wise’. This group of volunteers from across Halewood have set up the organisation to recycle school uniforms for free distribution to families. After a strong and successful campaign to promote the need for donations, the group will commence distribution this coming Saturday August 8th at The Arncliffe Centre.
Here is a message from the group’s Facebook Page (where you can also give them a follow). Please share this message, especially with families/friends who might benefit from this excellent initiative:
We will be open to the public on Saturday from 1130-1400 for you to get your free, recycled uniforms from Halewood Academy, St Mark’s, Halewood CofE, Plantation, Yew Tree, Holy Family & St Andrew’s. All items in excellent condition and have been washed and ironed. So before you buy your uniform please pop down to The Arncliffe Centre and see if we have what you need. Please note that due to Covid 19 restrictions we can only have a limited number of people at a time, and please bring your mask.
