Halewood Town Council made its first allocations from the ‘Allan Harvey Christmas Grant’ at tonight’s meeting. This is a special fund the council has established in the name of former Cllr Allan Harvey who sadly passed away last year. There were five applications from local organisations seeking funds to deliver a wide range of activities and direct support to residents across Halewood. All groups were successful in their applications and the council wishes them every success in their vital work to deliver much-needed Christmas cheer.
The groups supported are:
- Halewood Youth in Community Centre
- Halewood Community Spirit
- Parish of St. John Vianney
- Newby House
- Local person Paul Burke
