BURST WATER MAIN
United Utilities have issued the following statement regarding the major leak on Cartbridge Lane today (31st March 2016) .
“We are currently fixing a major leak on Cartbridge Lane, L26 6LH, Halewood, following some damage caused by a third party.
“We will be using our water on wheels tankers to help maintain supplies by pumping water into the network but there is a risk that whilst we fix the leak, water supplies may be affected in L26/L27/L25 later today.
“We are advising that customers in those postcode areas start to store water in case the water does go off while we fix the leak.”
