Roadworks

To facilitate carriageway maintenance works, road closures will be in place on M62 Entry Slip Roads at Roby Ward and Halewood North Ward, on Sunday 29^th March 2026 between the hours of 06:00 and 12:00, at the following locations;

• M62 Junction 5 Eastbound Entry Slip, Roby Ward – In an eastbound direction to its interface with the M62.
• M62 Junction 6 Westbound Entry Slip, Halewood North Ward – In a westbound direction to its interface with the M62.

The diversion routes associated with this closure will be via;

• FOR J5 – Roby Road, Tarbock Road, Cronton Road and vice versa.
• FOR J6 – Cronton Road, Tarbock Road, Roby Road and vice versa.

We have been notified that the current electrical works on Lower Road have not been completed and will be extended to 10^th April 2026.

To facilitate essential remedial works, a road closure will be in place on Baileys Lane, Halewood South Ward, from 3rd April 2026 to 10^th April 2026 at the following location;

• Baileys Lane, Halewood South Ward – From its junction with Higher Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 167 metres

The diversion routes associated with this closure will be via;

• Baileys Lane, Church Road, Lydiate Lane, Mackets Lane, Higher Road and vice versa.
• Higher Road, Speke Road, Newstead Farm Interchange, Speke Road and Higher Road.
