Disabled Parking at The Arncliffe Centre
We are kindly requesting visitors to The Arncliffe Centre to abide by the regulations when parking vehicles. When the centre is particularly busy a number of vehicles – without blue badges – have parked in the spots designated for disabled persons. This is a particular issue on Thursday evenings when we have Town Council meetings with large numbers of attendees.
We respectfully ask that these parking places are kept free for our visitors with restricted mobility.

Catering Tender for Functions/Events – Halewood Town Council
Halewood Town Council is keen to hear from catering companies who can provide catering for a range of events at its Arncliffe and Hollies Hall Centres.
There are frequent requests to provide catering for parties, weddings, funeral gatherings and other events. The council wishes an organisation to act as its ‘recommended supplier’ for such functions for the period January 2020 to January 2022 (with a review in October 2020).

A Neighbourhood Plan for Halewood
The Planning Committee of Knowsley MBC last night approved the request to develop a Neighbourhood Plan corresponding to the boundaries of Halewood Town Council. The development of a Neighbourhood Plan had become a priority for Halewood Town Council and its intention to progress with a plan had been agreed at the meeting of June 20th 2019. The proposal to develop the plan at last night’s meeting was also positively endorsed by Knowsley Council leader, Cllr. Graham Morgan.
Halewood has created a Steering Group to drive the work of its plan chaired by Cllr. Bob Swann, but the hard work to create the plan now begins in earnest.
The link below provides more information on the purpose of a Neighbourhood Plan.
