The Allan Harvey Christmas Grant 2020

In anticipation of a ‘different’ Christmas 2020 due to the Covid-19 crisis, Halewood Town Council is inviting local organisations to request financial support from a new fund created in the name of former Town Councillor, Allan Harvey.

The ‘Allan Harvey Christmas Grant’ is intended to facilitate and support projects in the Halewood community that will benefit local residents in the lead-up to this important time of year. Whether these projects are designed to bring a little joy to people’s lives, to assist them if they are feeling isolated or hungry, or simply aim to foster good relations in our community, we want to hear from you.

The format for accessing the fund will be the current Community Grants form operated by Halewood Town Council. This is to ensure an application process exists that will be familiar to local organisations. The application form can be accessed in the link within this post or by requesting a paper copy from the Town Council offices.

Applications will be assessed at Halewood Town Council meetings. Every effort will be made to assess applications quickly and get much-needed funding to those organisations offering provision in the community. In addition, this fund is additional to the current Town Council Community Grant system. This means any organisation who have successfully received Community Grant funding in 2020/21 are free to bid for support from the Allan Harvey Christmas Grant. Applications up to £500.00 will be considered.
