As part of the ongoing pedestrian upgrade works on Higher Road (A562), road closures will be in place along Higher Road (A562), Leathers Lane, Marsden Road & New Hutte Lane commencing Saturday 28th September 2024 and Sunday 29th September at the following locations;
- A562 Higher Road, Halewood – From a distance of 50m west of its junction with Leathers Lane to its junction with Alexander Grove.
- Leathers Lane, Halewood – From its junction with A562 Higher Road to its junction with Woodland Road.
- Marsden Road, Halewood – From its junction with Leathers Lane for a distance of 33m in an eastbound direction.
- New Hutte Lane, Halewood – From its junction with A562 Higher Road to its junction with Georgian Close.
The diversion routes associated with this closure will be via;
- Higher Road – A562 Higher Road (eastbound), A561 Speke Boulevard, A562 Speke Road, Newstead Farm Interchange, A562 Speke Road (westbound), A561 Speke Boulevard, Speke Hall Road, A562 Hillfoot Avenue (eastbound), A562 Higher Road.
- New Hutte Lane – New Hutte Lane, Torrington Drive.
- Leather’s Lane – Leather’s Lane, Baileys Lane.
- Marsden Road – Marsden Road, Roseheath Drive, Leather’s Lane, Baileys Lane.
