The Council has taken the decision to close the Hollies Play Area until the week commencing August 3rd. After it reopened on July 6th there were, sadly, a number of instances of anti-social behaviour and threats made to the personnel trying to close the Play Area. Because of this behaviour, the person undertaking the task of closing the site resigned from their role with immediate effect leaving the council with the difficult decision of temporarily closing this provision.
The Play Area will reopen from the week commencing Monday August 3rd when the council will have personnel available to complete the task of opening and closing the site.
