On Thursday June 11th, the Planning Committee of Knowsley MBC will be meeting. One of the main items for discussion at this meeting will be the proposal to sign-off the Masterplan for the East Of Halewood development site. If approved on Thursday, the development will see the building of 1,500 homes and, according to the main report, “…extensive new and improved open spaces to the benefit of new and existing residents”.

East of Halewood Masterplan Details
Due to the issues related to Covid-19 this will be a remote meeting with no public participation. However Knowsley Council advises, “Members of the public will of course be able to participate in future Planning Committee meetings which deal with Planning Applications for development at East of Halewood (such as the three live planning applications we are currently considering from Miller Homes, Redrow Homes and Bellway Homes). Meeting dates for consideration of these items have not yet been established, however in due course, those wishing to speak at such meetings will be able to register in the usual way”.
