Town Council Meeting 18 November, 6.30pm (Change of Venue)

Following feedback from several residents, the next Halewood Town Council meeting on Thursday 18th November will now take place at Hollies Hall, on Hollies Road. This meeting will host a Transport update from Cllr Liam Robinson, who is the Metro Mayor’s lead for Transport and Air Quality. We thank residents for the feedback, and have taken onboard some of their positive suggestions.

We are aware of the public interest surrounding this meeting. By hosting it at Hollies Hall we can therefore ensure up to 60 members of the public can be in attendance (as opposed to the 40 who could be accommodated at The Arncliffe Centre) . In addition, we appreciate Hollies Hall will be a more accessible venue for many residents given challenges with local transport.

Due to the previously noted public interest, residents must request a place in advance of the meeting. To do so, please contact us in the following ways:

Email: gerry.allen@knowsley.gov.uk

Telephone: 443-2063

Places will be allocated on a ‘first come, first serve basis’ to the first 60 people requesting a place. There will be no admittance to persons who have not registered a place in advance of the meeting.

In advance of the session, questions are invited from members of the public, but must be logged with the Town Manager by 6.30pm on Tuesday 16 November. Residents are reminded that this is not a Public Meeting, this is a normal Town Council meeting with residents in attendance and permitted to ask questions via the Chair. The formal meeting notice and agenda for the meeting will be posted this Friday, 12th November.
