Hollies Play Area (Early Closure)
Halewood Town Council must sadly enforce the early daily closure of the Hollies Playground. Our keyholder will be seeking to close the Play Area by 4.00pm until further notice.
The reason for the early closure is the persistent intimidation of our keyholder by a gang of young persons using fireworks in dangerous and inappropriate ways. The Police have been informed of these ongoing issues, and messages have been posted previously on social media, but the intimidation has continued.
It is our hope the incidents stop, and the Play Area can remain open at least until the sun sets in the next few weeks, but the safety of our staff must be paramount.
